DTF Heat Pressing: Time, Temperature & Pressure

A good DTF print can still fail at the heat press.
Time, temperature and pressure work together to bond the transfer to the garment. If one of those variables is wrong, the result may look acceptable initially but fail later through poor adhesion, cracking, lifting or washing.
There is no single heat press setting that is correct for every DTF film, powder, garment and press.
Different presses also behave differently.
This guide explains the relationship between temperature, pressure and dwell time, why testing matters and what operators should look for when diagnosing inconsistent DTF transfer results.
