A compact platform with increased productivity and reliability
The VersaStudio BY2-20 is a compact direct-to-film solution for apparel and accessory decoration. It features a similar footprint to its predecessor with integrated cutting for for graphics, lettering, numbering and hybrid DTF/HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl) processes. The new model offers enhanced reliability and increased ink capacity for enhanced productivity with a reduced production cost.
Consistent output with a reduced print cost
An improved ink delivery system means the BY2-20 is able to deliver more consistent output. Produce sharp graphics with accurate colour, strong white coverage and good wash durability. S-PG2 inks are applied evenly for thin lines, fine text and intricate details.
The ink supply system has been enhanced to support Dual White cartridges. While 220ml cartridges can be loaded for intermittent low-volume work, 500ml cartridges can be loaded for those with higher volume production needs. The bigger cartridges not only enable longer print runs but also feature a lower cost-per-ml for a reduced production cost.

Roland BY Series Genuine Options
The BY2-20 can be used in-line with a Roland RDTFS500 powder shaker/oven for an integrated single-vendor production system.
The printer and shaker/oven can be operated on a desktop. The RDTB500 table can be used for a floor installation.

Some ink and film will be used to prime the printer and perform testing during set-up (this is a once-off process).
