Do You Need a Powder Shaker & Dryer for DTF?

A DTF printer is only one part of a complete DTF production workflow.

After printing, adhesive powder must be applied and cured before the transfer can be pressed onto a garment.

Small-volume users may perform some of these steps manually. As production increases, a powder shaker and dryer can dramatically change the workflow.

The question is not simply whether a shaker is “better”.

The real question is whether your production volume, labour and consistency justify automation.

This guide explains what a shaker and curing unit actually do and when they begin to make commercial sense.
