The Roland TY Series are DTF (direct-to-film) printers designed for garment and merchandise customisation. They image onto film which is fed into a shaker/oven unit where thermo-adhesive powder is applied and heated so it adheres to the graphics and text. The final output is taken up onto a roll that is removed, images cut to size, and applied to finished goods in a heat press.
The latest model in this series is the TY-300i. It has similar features to its predecessor while incorporating two additional White cartridges for extended operation.
Roland DG developed this range as an integrated DTF solution complete with RIP software, DTF film and powder. Printers can be used with either a Roland shaker/oven or a model produced by manufacturers such as Vibrand.
Create apparel with eye-catching graphics - including detailed designs, images and text - no weeding or masking required! Transfers can be applied to a variety of natural and man-made substrates including polyester.

Roland DTF inks ensure reliable operation with quality output that is Oeko-Tex Eco Passport Certified when applied to appropriate fabrics. Colour presets in the RIP enable operators to balance vibrancy with natural gradients for superior imaging.
Wide fabric compatibility
With this printer you can produce a wide range of garments. Transfers can be applied on light and dark fabrics. Prints can be applied to a wide variety of natural and man-made fabric types (including cotton, polyester, nylon, denim, rayon and more).
High image quality
When operated with Roland ink and RIP software, this printer delivers vivid, accurate colour with fine detail. It produces some of the smoothest gradients and best tones in its class. Colour is consistent while garments have very good wash-wear durability.
Reliable and Easy to Use
This printer comes with a 2 year Heads N' All warranty extendable up to 4 years for reduced maintenance costs and an improved ROI. A large colour LCD touch panel with integrated help is matched with user-friendly RIP software.
Enhanced productivity
This printer incorporates 4 white inks with hot-swap support. A perforated sheet cut function saves time and effort when working with a flat heat press. The Roland DG Connect app enables desktop and remote monitoring of your print operations.
