Artwork Preparation for Better DTF & DTG Printing

A printer cannot restore detail that does not exist in the artwork.

Low-resolution images, poor transparency, incorrect sizing, unwanted backgrounds and badly prepared files can all reduce print quality before the printer even starts.

Good production begins with good artwork.

This guide explains the basic artwork preparation principles that can improve DTF and DTG results, including resolution, image sizing, transparency, fine detail, colour and the importance of checking files before production.
