VersaSTUDIO BD Series Desktop Flatbed UV Printer

It’s a compact device which prints directly onto a huge range of items and the possibilities are virtually endless.
The BD-8 and BD-12 is a UV printer capable of high-definition direct printing on a variety of shapes and materials. The BD-8 supports items up to A5 size and 102mm in height, and the BD-12 supports items up to A4 size and 102mm in height. The machine can also print on cylindrical objects such as bottles and lipsticks using the optional Rotary Axis.
The EUV5 ink is compatible with numerous materials, from soft textures like fabric and leather to hard textures like wood and plastics. The primer ink enables improved adhesion for printing on glass and metal.
A Service Engineer is required to install these units.

Print directly onto media
The optional rotary axis, OA-RA-8, allows 360-degree printing directly onto cylindrical objects up to 50 mm in diameter such as lip sticks and mini bottles. Combining durable product design with a motor drive system and simple set-up.
State of the art ECO-UV ink
The BD-Series use the same print head, EUV5 ink, and high-power UV-LED lamp as the MG series and can discharge more white ink than the LEF series. As a result, the BD-Series can achieve better white ink density than the LEF series and create colours that pop on dark, coloured or clear substrates by printing a base layer of “High-Density White Ink.”
