Mimaki UJV300DTF-75 UV Direct To Film Printer.
The UJV300DTF-75 is a UV DTF printer designed for cost-effective creation of value-added products and custom merchandise. Unlike traditional UV printing which applies ink directly to an object, UV-DTF prints on film with images then transferred to the target object. It uses special media that consists of two parts: a glued film and a transfer sheet.
There are many advantages with UV-DTF over direct UV printing. You don't require special jigs which saves in set-up cost, loading and unloading time. While the transfer process requires some labour, overall productivity tends to be much greater. The process supports a wider range of materials including Polypropylene (PP), Polyethlene (PE) and glass. It also works better with objects that have uneven or curved surfaces. Transfers can be produced in advance and applied on demand for reduced inventory and a more efficient workflow.
UV-DTF also has advantages over PVC stickers and PVC films. Images are brighter, there is no requirement for weeding or residue removal, adhesion is better and prints are more durable.

High image quality and stability
The UJV300DTF-75 is built on Mimaki's proven UCJV300 production platform. It features outstanding print quality, consistency and operational reliability:
- Beautiful gradations with low graininess
- Accurate reproduction of small characters and fine lines
- High productivity with Automatic nozzle check [NCU] and nozzle recovery [NRS]
- Consistent white ink density with reduced nozzle clogging care of Ink Re-circulation [MCT]
- Integrated media jam sensors for stable operation with minimal wastage and maximum uptime
Reliable and Flexible Operation
Quality Feed System
A pinch roller system developed specially for UV-DTF film ensures stable feeding. Glued film passes cleanly and evenly.
An optional Ionizer (OPT-J0465) can be added to further enhance reliability.

Easy Media Loading
Loading is quick and easy while operator oversight is kept to a minimum. Sheets are set by simply pressing a lever.

Advanced Take-Up System
UV-DTF film is handled cleanly with a multi-part powered take-up at the back of the machine. Precision winding, matched to the machine's transport speed, ensures consistent quality output.

Superior Ink
The UJV300DTF-75 uses a combination of hard ELH-100 and soft ELS-170 ink to achieve a balance between strength and flexibility. This is perfect for decorative work with good adhesion on a range of surfaces and industry-leading durability.

Better Outcomes
Mimaki’s ELS-170 and ELH-100 UV inks are GREENGUARD Goldcertified, having passed the world’s most stringent standards forchemical emissions. This certification ensures their suitability for usein sensitive environments such as schools and healthcare facilities. They are the ideal choice for consumer, operator and environmental responsible printing.
Included Software
The Mimaki UJV300DTF-75 ships complete with a suite of design, RIP and print management software.
Simple Create is an application that allows you to create labels, POP, stickers, and other graphics without a need of additional DTP software. It provides tools for creating designs and cutlines that can be output direct from the software. It is quick to learn and easy to use.
RasterLink is an advanced RIP application that allows images to be combined and adjusted to optimise output quality and media utilisation. Files are processed before being sent to print with consistent and accurate output on your Mimaki printer.
Mimaki PICT is a cloud based utility that enables equipment, production and consumable status monitoring. It provides real-time, historical and predictive data to support planning, management, support and service. It can be accessed from a desktop PC or remotely on a mobile device.
Optional Mimaki Total Care Service
Mimaki builds quality equipment but custom printing often involves a lot of stress and unknowns. If breakdowns occur they usually happen at the most inopportune time and can be expensive to rectify with parts and labour costs, lost productivity and angry customers. Total Care extends factory warranty by up to as much as THREE years on the UJV300DTF-75 . It reduces overall costs while protecting your investment and eliminating the unexpected. Best of all, costs can be included in a lease for a clear and stable ROI.

Precautions for UV Printing
Inks and substrates:
- It is recommended that users only operate with approved films. Please contact Machines Plus for appropriate stocks.
- Ink adhesion and image durability can vary depending on the transfer object and its intended usage. Some surfaces also benefit from the application of a primer before image transfer. It is recommended that test prints be produced before commencing production.
Safety notice:
- Uncured UV ink should be handled with care. Operators must read the usage, loading and handling instructions found on packaging and published separately.
- The curing process for ink involves a high intensity UV lamp. Operators must not look directly into the light source, place hands or skin in a location where they are likely to be exposed.
- During the print process UV ink will emit some smell. Equipment should be operated in a well ventilated location.
- Operators must read and follow instructions and guidelines found in the Mimaki user manual along with any additional notices published by the manufacturer from time-to-time.
